A very good steel known for its excellent wear resistance with a hardness of 60-61 HRC. It is a semi-stainless steel due to the high concentration of Chromium (12%) so please do not keep your D2 steel knives dirty and wet - they will rust if you do not clean them regularly after use. Dandy is just the perfect everyday use knife and comes with a nice carton box.
