My name is Ben Tendick, and I am BRT Bladeworks. I am located in beautiful Eugene Oregon. I was born and raised in the area, and really enjoy all it has to offer. I am a full time knifemaker, making custom/handmade knives and titanium tools in many styles. I started making knives back in October of 2010 and haven't looked back. Most of my work is 100% sole authorship. From blades, to handles, sheaths, and heat treat (including Liquid Nitrogen cryo treatment when applicable) Its a one man show. I also utilize the waterjet cutting process for profile cutting of certain blades and titanium parts.
I call this east meets west design my Hybrid bowie. Combing Japanese and Western aesthetics into a blade that cuts above its weight class. The 5” CPM 3V blade receives my high performance heat treat and proper liquid nitrogen cryo cycles. The epoxy hardened Tsuka Ito handle is as durable as it is beautiful.
