This is our Exclusive Kestrel Feather Tomahawk with black/cherry handle scales and a Black Cerakote Finish. The Kestrel Feather is a lightweight and more compact version of the venerable 18" Eagle Talon. This multi-roll tomahawk was designed to be fast and light, it comes in at just 19oz, and 13" long. It offers full tang construction made from 1/4" 80CRV2 carbon steel that has a Black Cerekote finish for corrosion resistance and wear. This is a heavy use tool, the full tang construction absorbs the punishment while the hardened striking surface on the head delivers it back without chipping or shattering. The permanently attached G10 handle scales offer a contoured 3D texture that works great both wet and dry without being overly aggressive. The 3 inch forward edge is razor sharp and that is combined with a 3" distal tapered spike that can be used for digging, shattering tempered glass, penetrating sheet metal, it can be used to hack through concrete and wood, to breaking chains and hardened padlocks.
